题目:Abundance of Smale’s horseshoes and ergodic measures via multifractal analysis and various quantitative spectrums

摘要:In this talk we consider intermediate entropy property under the observation of continuous functions. On one hand this refined the Katoks intermediate entropy property to get a multifractal version. On the other hand it helps us to get the intermediate properties of Hausdorff dimension geometric pressure, unstable Hausdorff dimension, first return rate, Lyapunov exponents etc. The considered systems include uniformly hyperbolic diffeomorphisms. or flows, nonuniformly hyperbolic diffeomorphisms.  Or singular hyperbolic flows, and many symbolic dynamics. In this process, we introduce and establish a multi-horseshoe entropy-dense property and use it to get the goal combined with the well known conditional variational principles.

题目:Singularities propagation in deterministic and random setting

摘要: There are various notions of singular characteristics in the theory of propagation singularities of viscosity solutions. In this talk, we will discuss the variational construction of generalized characteristics and strict singular characteristics.  We proved the solution of generalized characteristics can be constructed in an intrinsic way using the idea of minimizing movements and certain process of homogenization. Moreover, the relation between the strict singular characteristics and the EDI-EVI frame of gradient flow was also discussed.  In general, these results bridge various different topics.This talk is based on our latest work with Piermarco Cannarsa, Jiahui Hong, Kaizhi Wang and Tianqi Shi.

题目:Prevalent periodic maximization over an expanding circle map

摘要:I will discuss a joint work with Rui Gao (in progress), where we study the ergodic optimization problem over a real analytic expanding circle map T. Let M be the set of T-invariant Borel probability measures on the unit circle. For a continuous real valued function f defined on the unit circle, a measure µ0is called maximal if ∫ fdµ takes its maximum at µ = µ0.We shall show that for a typical (in both topological and measure-theoretical sense) real analytic performance function f , there is a unique maximizing measure and the measure is supported on a periodic orbit.

摘要:Since von Neumann studied the well-known Banach-Tarski paradox in 1929, till now there are many characterizations for amenable groups.In this talk  I will report a new characterization of countable amenable groups from the viewpoint of dynamical system.Namely we introduce a new concept called multiorder,and prove that a countable group G is amenable if and only if there exists a multiorder on G. I will also discuss briefly some applications of this new characterization.The talk is based on joint works with  Downarowicz,Huczek,Oprocha and Wiecek.
